We’re Moving!

Once again we have outgrown our current server setup and are adding a new server in Kansas City, named “tomorrow”. Existing customers will be seamlessly transferred over to the server over the next few days and should see no change other than a different IP address for their website. “Mainstreet” will be retired within the next month or two as we move customers off of it.

Announcing A La Carte Hosting

Our new A La Carte hosting. $20 a year includes one free domain and access to our A La Carte servers. Hard drive space is $1 a month per gigabyte, and bandwidth is 50 cents a gigabyte. Your account comes with one free email address, additional email addresses can be purchased 4 for a dollar a month. MySQL databases must be prepurchased for 50 cents a month.

Throughout the month, our system monitors your hard disk usage and will bill you $1 a GB based on your average usage. It also tracks all bandwidth and bills $0.50 a GB. Only pay when your running bill hits $5, only pay for what you use. By default, we put a ceiling of 2GB HD/18GB bandwidth per month, but you can contact us if you need this raised.

Upgraded Server

Kelson Prime has moved the Mainstreet server from Seattle to New York to better serve our customers. Our providers recently added support to the east coast, so we decided to take advantage of this since most of our customers are on the east coast also. In addition to being physically closer to most users, the server had more elastic RAM capabilities.

We are proud to announce that Kelson Prime is now Kelson Prime, LLC. As soon as we have our new bank account setup, we will be able to take checks written to Kelson Prime. In addition, we announced a new contest on our shiny new Twitter account. As soon as there are 200 followers, we will give away to one of them our Highway plan for a whole year free!

We would like to come up with a new, better slogan. Email kurt@kelsonprime.com with any ideas. If your slogan is used, you will recieve $20 credit on your hosting account. If you are not a current customer, that credit could be used for up to 6 months of free hosting!
